The Global Academic Excellence Scholarship is a program designed to nurture and empower the brightest minds of international students from around the world. This scholarship offers an annual tuition fee discount to undergraduate and postgraduate coursework international students who have demonstrated academic excellence in their previous studies.

Eligible Course: All other courses in the University except:
- all non-award, Masters by Research and PhD programs; and
- the following coursework programs:
- (a) Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics (ABLE):
  - Adelaide Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Standard 1.5-year program
    only (CRICOS 059067E)
- (b) Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology (SET):
  - Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience)
  - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
- (c) Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (FHMS):
  All FHMS programs are excluded from this scholarship initiative, other than the following:
  - Bachelor of Health & Medical Science.
  - Bachelor of Health & Medical Science (Advanced).
  - Bachelor of Nursing.
  - Bachelor of Oral Health.
  - Bachelor of Psychological Science.
  - Bachelor of Psychology (Advanced) (Honours).
  - Master of Public Health (suite GC and GD).
  - Master of Nursing Science (General).

Eligibility requirements for Global Academic Excellence Scholarship

Read the criteria before you apply. The Global Academic Excellence Scholarship eligibility status includes the following:

Candidate must have a minimum (ATAR of 99.9) or equivalent, for entry to an undergraduate (UG) program.
Applicants must have at least a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.9 on a 7.0 scale or equivalent score for entry to an undergraduate or postgraduate program.
The scholarship is also eligible for applicants with a least Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.8 on a 7.0 scale for studies obtained at the University of Adelaide (or with a comparable score for studies at an Australian University where studies are completed in Australia) for entry to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level award program.
Academic transcript.
You must be fluent in the English language.
All candidates must be assessed by a scholarship committee for suitability for the offer of the scholarship.
The scholarship is only available for International Students who will start their program in 2024 academic entries at the University.
Direct entry undergraduate and postgraduate award program applicants, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) before their degree commencement;
This program is only open to citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh who are enrolling as International Students and students who have completed their most recent qualifications in Australia.
