Eligibility Criteria for the Undergraduate International Merit Scholarship

To be eligible for the Undergraduate International Merit Scholarship you must:

  1. Obtain a score of 25 or 1200 for the ACT and 1200 SAT respectively. (Any equivalent score will be accepted).
  2. Have a score of 3.25 U.S.A. equivalent cumulative High School GPA as determined by a credential evaluation agency (NACES).

  4. The award can not be combined with other award programs that cover tuition and fees.
  5. The four-year (eight semesters) scholarship is renewable if recipients take a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
  6. As an undergraduate student, you must be continuously enrolling in each fall and spring semester to maintain scholarship eligibility.
  7. You must earn at least a score of 2.75 UofM GPA or higher in your first two semesters and as well maintain a score of 3.0 UofM GPA or higher for subsequent semesters.
  8. All scholars must enroll in spring or fall academic year only.
  9. USA citizens or dual citizen individuals are not to apply for this scholarship program. It is only for first-time international applicants.
  10. Continuing or currently enrolled students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  11. Student-athletes are subject to NCAA compliance.
